Sam Godfrey Roberts

Sam brings to the team 16 years insurance experience spread across both insurance broking & underwriting. He held underwriting & senior management roles with Insurers CGU & QBE covering all areas of general insurance with a focus on rural & regional brokers & clients. Sam also successfully owned & managed a large regional brokerage for 6 years overseeing & implementing significant growth & expansion to the business before selling the business in 2018. Since then Sam has been busy working on the expansion of Ballarat Insurance Brokers client portfolio in Far North Queensland under our Authorised Representative operation – FNQ Insurance Brokers which has provided much needed insurance support, guidance & risk management to the wide ranging client base in this area. Sam has a passion for the industry & his clients & brings to Ballarat Insurance Brokers not just insurance & underwriting management experience but a wealth of knowledge across the vast array of insurance classes.
